Professional health care providers will bring with them a solid background in patient communication coupled with a high degree of patient empathy. On 2nd December 1971, the United Arab Emirates was announced. Article (85) of the provisional federal constitution was issued to establish a federal ministry of health within other ministries.

On 1973, the United Arab Emirates took over the responsibilities and tasks of providing healthcare, preventive and treatment services, establishment of hospitals and health centers as well as management and technical supervision of all private sectors institutions related to this area.

Currently, the Ministry of Health works through three key sectors and six medical districts. It also oversees 17 hospitals, 64 Primary Health Care Centers in addition to clinics and specialized centers such as Blood Transfusion and Research Services Center, Rashid Center for Diabetes and Research, Heart Center, Gynecology and Obstetrics Center.
