About the Job:
Working under the guidance of an experienced Buying Manager we now have an opportunity of a Temporary Buying Assistant.
This role will be supporting the team by handling all of the administration duties required to have pre selected stock in the stores in the correct quantity at the right time and ready to sell to our customers.
In addition to this the Buying Assistant will produce relevant reports for the Buyers analysis as and when required.
About You:
The role is well suited to candidates looked for a Temporary Buying Assistant role, who can display the following competencies -
- SAP knowledge particularly in sales, inventory and master data
- Sound knowledge in MS office
- Advanced skills in MS Excel is essential
- Responsible for maintaining and updating master files (i.e. pricing, descriptions and vendors details)
- Responsible for Article creation
- Providing new vendors details and communicating it to the finance department
- Ensure new vendors are set up correctly
- Responsible for running replenishment reports in SAP according to company schedules
- Communicating with vendors to ensure that purchase orders are executed in timely manner
- Liaising with logistics and reporting back to senior buyers
- Communicating with stores
- Assist senior buyers in analyzing inventory positions and identifying slow moving lines
